Blue Oak Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center
COVID-19 Re-Opening Statement
We have made the decision to open our office for elective procedures as of Tuesday, May 26th and are available to resume elective treatment. This opening decision was not made lightly. After careful consideration of the landscape we now practice in, we have taken all necessary precautions regarding patient screening, infection control protocols and personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of all of our patients and team members, in accordance with California Department of Public Health, CDC, OSHA and ADA guidelines and recommendations. Some of the notable changes will include:
- Longer appointment times are necessary due to staggered patient appointments, maintaining appropriate in-office social distancing and adequate procedure room disinfection turnover time.
- Offering video conferencing consultations in lieu of in-person consultations where patient preference and individual patient risk factors dictate.
- Discontinuation of same day treatment unless emergency treatment is indicated. Non-emergencies will be consulted, and the procedure will be appointed at a later time as diagnosis and procedure dictates.
We remain committed to providing the best quality care to our community in the safest manner. If we can be of any assistance to you in these troubling times, please feel free to reach out.

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
Dental implants are changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.
